Welcome to Perform Harpenden at Harpenden United Reformed Church - where our weekly workshops are not just about having fun. They're also about fostering vital life skills that will stay with your child forever.

We started running classes at Harpenden United Reformed Church in September 2021 and are currently here every week during term-time on Saturdays.

At Perform Harpenden, the Producer of the classes is Lewis and the Teacher is Maddy. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Jade.

The current term runs from 5th September to 12th December.

How to get here and parking:

To reach the venue by car, travel along High Street (A1081) through Harpenden, then turn onto Vaughan Road.

On your first left after going under the bridge, you will see free street parking. There is additional pay-and-display spaces located at nearby station or town centre car parks.

Harpenden railway station is just a few minutes walk away. Regular local bus services stop nearby along High Street and Station Road.

I have been teaching and producing classes with Perform since 2019. It's awesome to teach and inspire children every week, using the skillset I've built through the last 15 years. I've worked in the world of theatre as part of a children's theatre company, as well as in lighting and sound. I love coming to class each week and creating a space for children to discover and showcase their amazing talent and personalities!

AREA PARTNER

Jade

I trained in Musical Theatre at Midlands Academy Of Dance and Drama I started teaching at Perform back in 2006, and I still absolutely love it today! It's so rewarding to see every child flourish and grow in confidence term by term. I am also a Perform Area Partner, so every day brings a different job! Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me at a football pitch or scooter park watching my children play. I also enjoy reformer Pilates and trips to the theatre.
