Inside the Perform experience

Every Perform session is thoughtfully designed to develop "The 4 Cs": Confidence, Communication, Concentration and Coordination, while giving children a joyful and enriching experience.

Each session features three sections tailored to your child's age group:

Move & feel (4-7s):

Focuses on developing physical coordination and emotional awareness through movement and music.

Dance & movement (7-12s):

Older children work on choreographed routines and creative movement exercises.

Listen, speak & sing (4-7s):

This section focuses on enhancing verbal communication and listening skills through fun activities.

Speaking & singing (7-12s):

Older students develop their vocal abilities and public speaking skills.

Create & imagine (4-7s):

In this part of the class, younger children dive into role-playing and storytelling.

Drama & improvisation (7-12s):

Older children explore character work and improvisational techniques.

Keeping parents involved

At Perform, we value open communication with parents, keeping you updated on your child's development and achievements.

Parent feedback

  • After every class, you'll receive an email explaining the activities and skills your child explored
  • Regular personalised Feedback Forms provide a detailed update on their progress, highlighting their growing confidence and abilities
  • Your producer is always available to answer questions or discuss your child's development

Watching classes

While children benefit most when parents aren't present during weekly sessions, we invite you to special moments throughout the term:

  • Half-term Open Workshops: an opportunity for you to see what your child is learning.
  • End of term Presentations: celebrate your child's achievements with a show featuring dancing, acting and singing.
  • Holiday courses: Experience the joy and energy of Perform as you enjoy a mini-musical performance with colourful costumes and props.
