A warm and confident welcome to Perform Wimbledon at Mansel Road Centre! At Perform, we put child development at the heart of everything we do. Come and try a free class and find out.

We started running classes at Mansel Road Centre in September 2009 and are currently here every week during term-time on Tuesdays.

At Perform Wimbledon, the Producer of the classes is Emily and the Teacher is Joanna. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Hannah.

The current term runs from 1st September to 15th December with no sessions on 27th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Head up Wimbledon Hill Road from Wimbledon town centre and take a left turn onto Mansel Road. The venue is beside Wimbledon High School.

Limited on-site parking spaces are available. Pay-and-display meter parking is available along Mansel Road and surrounding streets, alongside nearby public car parks like Hartfield Road.

Wimbledon station is less than a ten-minute walk away, served by National Rail, District line, and Tramlink connections. Local buses also stop along Wimbledon Hill Road.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Mansel Road Centre in Wimbledon are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. I love sharing my passion for performing and helping children build confidence through drama, seeing how much they grow each term is the most rewarding part of teaching. Outside of Perform, I work on independent film projects and continue developing my skills as an actor and filmmaker. I strive to make every class fun, supportive, and full of energy!

TEACHER

Joanna

I have been producing classes at Perform since 2023. It's such a pleasure to watch children's confidence blossom and I am always so impressed with the progress of each and every child in our classes. Outside of Perform, you will often find me running to raise money for Diabetes UK - I am Type One and I love raising awareness!

AREA PARTNER

Hannah

I've been part of the Perform family since 2015 and work as an Area Partner and Producer. I also oversee our LAMDA classes and deliver SEN training. My favourite part of the job is making children laugh and creating a safe space where they can thrive. Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me reading, walking my dogs or learning something new. I'm particularly interested in Psychology and History!
