Welcome to Perform Wimborne at Wimborne Methodist Church - dedicated to building confidence, concentration, communication and coordination using performing arts.

We started running classes at Wimborne Methodist Church in September 2026 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays.

At Perform Wimborne, the Producer of the classes is Georgina and the Teacher is Ella. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Sam.

The current term runs from 21st September to 14th December with no sessions on 26th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

If driving from Wimborne town centre, follow East Street or Park Lane into King Street, or approach via Julian's Road (A31) towards the town center.

Venue has a small car park. Limited parking is available directly outside the venue. Additional pay-and-display parking is available opposite at the King Street car park.

Regular bus services stop nearby at Wimborne Square, a short walk away, with direct connections to Poole and Bournemouth.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Wimborne Methodist Church in Wimborne are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Georgina

I am a Teacher and Producer at Perform. I trained at the University of Chichester on their Musical Theatre Triple Threat course and since then I have worked with children on all parts of theatre training, which I absolutely love. Outside of Perform, I love doing my own performing in local shows and have recently been involved in many of the Highcliffe Charity Players Pantomimes and Shows.

TEACHER

Ella

My name is Ella and, since joining Perform, I've absolutely loved watching the children's confidence grow. My training in musical theatre enables me to teach everything I've learned with passion; not only as a professional performer but as a person too!

AREA PARTNER

Sam

I have been with Perform since the beginning (almost)! I am an Area Partner and Producer, and love to be able to combine my passion of the performing arts and working with children. Watching their confidence and self esteem grow is the most rewarding thing, and seeing how proud parents are gives me a boost every day. At home I live with two fluffy dogs and love taking my god daughters to the theatre.
