Welcome to Perform Shoreham-By-Sea at Shoreham Baptist Church. Here in Shoreham-By-Sea, we offer drama, dance and singing sessions with a unique focus on fun and child development. Come and try a free class so you can see the benefits for yourself.

We started running classes at Shoreham Baptist Church in May 2022 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays.

At Perform Shoreham-By-Sea, the Producer of the classes is Raphaella and the Teacher is Samantha. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Sam.

The current term runs from 7th September to 14th December with no sessions on 26th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

When travelling by car from Coast Road (A259) or Old Shoreham Road (A270), head towards Shoreham town centre, turn onto Brunswick Road, and turn left onto Western Road.

Pay-and-display parking is available nearby at the Shoreham Centre car park, with limited short-stay on-street parking on Western Road and adjacent streets.

Shoreham-by-Sea railway station is just a short walk away. Frequent local bus services stop along the High Street and nearby stops.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Shoreham Baptist Church in Shoreham-By-Sea are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Raphaella

I have been teaching at Perform since 2022, when I graduated from The Urdang Academy with a degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Performing is my passion and it is an absolute joy to share my enthusiasm with the children every week. Watching their confidence grow throughout the term, and learning through laughter, is incredibly special. I especially love watching the children create their own characters!

TEACHER

Samantha

I have been working with Perform since 2017, after I graduated East15 Acting School in 2016! I love being able to utilise my performer knowledge in teaching and absolutely adore watching the children in my classes grow and develop throughout their time at Perform!

AREA PARTNER

Sam

I have been with Perform since the beginning (almost)! I am an Area Partner and Producer, and love to be able to combine my passion of the performing arts and working with children. Watching their confidence and self esteem grow is the most rewarding thing, and seeing how proud parents are gives me a boost every day. At home I live with two fluffy dogs and love taking my god daughters to the theatre.
