At Perform Whetstone, our focus is not about teaching rigorous techniques, memorisation and repetition to produce a 'perfect performance'. Instead, we use drama-based games, exercises, songs and dances in an imaginative and fun way to help boost child development.

We started running classes at St Mary Magdelen's Parish Hall in January 2006 and are currently here every week during term-time on Tuesdays.

At Perform Whetstone, the Producer of the classes is Lucy and the Teacher is Alice. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Hannah.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 28th October (half-term).

Nerry said he has fun at the sessions and feels more confident since joining. He said Amber is funny and he enjoys her teaching him about Greek mythology. He also likes the other children. He is really looking forward to the performance at Christmas.
