In 2024, LAMDA introduced new anthologies to provide learners with a diverse range of material. These collections aim to broaden the choice of pieces in terms of theme, voice and content, reflecting contemporary works alongside celebrated classics.
Your LAMDA teacher will guide you in selecting the appropriate grade to ensure you are working at the right level. For exams, students will need to choose one monologue from the set list for their grade along with an own-choice monologue. Below you can find both a selection for you to choose from.
Please be aware that some monologues may explore themes that could be sensitive or challenging. If you have any concerns, feel free to discuss them with your teacher.
