Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you more expensive than other drama schools?
It's now well established that the first eight years of life are vital for future social and emotional development and the quality of stimulation children receive during this time is of the utmost importance.
It's certainly true that there are cheaper children's drama classes available. However, we believe that when it comes to child development, every child deserves the best.
That's why we have two trained and experienced teachers in each workshop, a range of activities specifically designed for the age-group, a series of colourful creative materials to accompany the workshops and a real emphasis on the individual attention your child receives at all times.
If you are considering economising on classes, it's worth asking other providers the following questions before you decide:
1) What is the ratio of staff to children?
At Perform, it's generally 1 to 10 or less.
2) Are your teachers CRB-checked (police-checked)?
All Perform staff are.
3) Is there a trained First Aider on the premises at all times?
All Perform Managers are First Aid-trained.
4) Are your staff trained and equipped to work with this age-range?
All Perform staff undergo a rigorous intensive training programme followed by termly refresher sessions.
