2025 Holiday Courses - coming soon!

What happens in a Perform holiday course?

Our team of professional singers, dancers and actors will spark the children's imaginations as they bring classic stories to life with lots of fun, games and laughter. They'll be with them every step of the way to inspire and encourage them to project their voices, learn energetic dance routines, sing catchy songs, and develop the Perform 4 Cs: ConfidenceConcentration,  Communication and Coordination.

At the end of every holiday course, the children will put on a show-stopping performance to delight family and friends complete with imaginative costumes and original songs. They'll also get a personalised certificate to celebrate everything they've achieved.

Our holiday courses deliver an absorbing and fun experience for children and we often hear that it was their favourite activity. But don't take our word for it - read what parents say.

Course structure

Over 3-5 days, activities are broadly divided into three parts, each focusing on a different performing arts discipline.

DRAMA & ACTING

This includes a series of drama-based games and exercises to boost confidence such as focus work, character communication and vocal projection. The Producer will also progress to more detailed performance notes on areas such as character, physicality and accents. This session will really help to improve children’s attention at school as it develops concentration, imagination and speaking skills in a fun and imaginative way.

MOVEMENT & DANCE

This starts with an energetic and fun group of exercises designed to inspire the imagination, develop coordination and reduce the chance of injury. The choreographer will then progress to technical work on physical skills and detailed stylistic notes. All the activities in this section focus on the children developing good coordination, balance and core stability as they grow. They'll also enjoy greater self-assurance, improved posture and confidence to participate in physical activities.

SPEECH & SINGING

This aims to increase the flexibility of the vocal cords, develop basic musical reading and improve articulation and projection while maintaining good technique. The small groups allow most children to have solo or featured roles if they wish. Fun engaging topics and a humorous approach means this section is ideal for boosting children’s confidence, concentration and communication skills, all while establishing focus within the group and giving shy children a chance to shine.

We loved it and the girls loved it too. Well done!

– Mr Trevor Mallinson

My daughter has anxiety around talking and expressing herself which we are working on. Perform is a great resource for her and is really helping with her speech. Both Rhia and Alex were professional, lovely and bubbly.

– Ms Kylie Greenslade

Really impressed, especially given the time constraints and Covid. Hector was a bit reluctant to go in each day but then had a great time. He’s even opted to do a trial with Sian next week.

– Mrs Gemma Bowles

Summer absolutely loved this course! She says that she wants to come back every single school holiday! Thank you!

– Mrs Julia Foxx

Allegra loved the camp!

– Mrs Nadia Goslar

Effie really enjoyed her three days. She was a bit nervous at first because she didn't know any of the other kids but she came out every day full of the joys of what she had been up to and was singing the songs the whole time. I'm so glad she had such a great time. Thank you!

– Miss Sarah Maccormick

I appreciated the hard work and enthusiasm of the teachers. Jim said it was enthralling and  thought the best bit was doing the show. Zach loved playing the dragon game. The dragons were really funny!

– Mrs Madeline West

Alexa loved her 3 days at the holiday club. She has such a fun time and I can’t believe how much you all achieve in just 3 short days. All so professional and fun to watch.

– Mrs Juliette Dutta

Alex had a brilliant time and we all loved watching the performance. He really liked his teachers and loved learning the songs. He taught his little sister the actions and they were both dancing along to the video.

– Ms Kate Hampson

Noah did Perform for the first time in the summer and came out of the class shouting “I loved it” without being prompted! We therefore decided to do the October half term course as well.
